La constitution d'une Nation

In this catalogue Khadejah McCall's mixed media work "Altar" is displayed in an exhibition calling into question the notion of "Canada" as a unified nation-state. Of particular interest is the short text added to her work which notes that she has been exhibiting work in Canada and the United Sates since 1967 placing her career among some of the longest standing contemporary Black Canadian artistic practices. Yet, much of her work remains largely undocumented.
